The Sports Authority in Nalgonda takes care of administration and supervision of Sports Complexes and stadiums in Nalgonda district. The government agency for sports also organizes programmes for encouraging sports talents to take up various sports and properly train for the respective sports and games.

This outdoor stadium in Nalgonda was constructed in 1999 and it started functioning from the year 2000. Most of the sports facilities are present in this stadium. There is one pavilion and two galleries which can accomodate about 1500 spectators.

The indoor stadium is constructed just behind Nalgonda Town Hall and comprises of sports facilities such as three shuttle badminton courts, volley ball court, cement basket ball court, room for playing chess and two table tennis tables. There is a swimming pool too in the stadium.

The stadium was constructed in 1998 and comprises of sports facilities like three shuttle badminton courts, table tennis table, volley ball court, kho-kho court, court for playing kabaddi etc.
 
Education institutions in Nalgonda have been instructed by the government to provide play ground facilities to children for playing at least three games. Refresher course to Physical training teachers and use of latest sports equipments is provided by the Sports Authority.
